Castlemain Mill Holiday Cottages

Parkend is an idyllic rural village in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, with a strong friendly community spirit which openly welcomes visitors.

From the cricket green, a beautiful and unusual church, village shop/Post Office with café, two dog friendly pubs serving excellent food, steam trains, cycle hire with café, RSPB Nagshead reserve with the elusive Hawfinch, and fantastic forest walks and bike trails. You will be amazed by the tranquillity of this peaceful yet thriving village. Other pubs serving excellent food are only a short walk away though the forest.

There is no mobile coverage in Parkend so it is an opportunity to escape to the peace and quiet but free WiFi is provided at Castlemain Mill Holiday Cottages and also at The Fountain Inn and The Woodman and the Postage Stamp cafe.
